On scout Notre Dame High School DJ Welter is the top ranked linebacker in louisiana do yall agree? Is LSU after this kid?

very over rated real undersized and slow,,iv seen this kid play in person,not lsu material

I would not stretch it this far, but I have seen some of his highlight reels and have not come away extremely impressed. He is a definite D1 caliber player, but not someone that I think deserves an early offer (the studs around the nation).
People will be ****ing all over the internet when this kid is a 5.7 3 star because everyone seems to be in love with him at this point. (Thats my projection).
There are early names such as this one that surface every year (Jacob Karam would be an example last year) that everyone goes nuts about, but then cools on.
Welter is a solid WLB, but I don't see him improving out future LB corp any better than it already is.

Did we never offer him or was he just PSU bound no matter what? I noticed he played some as a true freshman this year.

Never offered him. He was probably PSU bound regardless because of family ties.

hahah I will never listen to you again. He ran a 4.55 at the lsu camp name another LSU linebacker that can run that. He is not over rated

So you say you dont get your information from rivals and then you send me a link to...RIVALS..thats fine if you want to beleive some of these websites but D.J. at best will run a 4.7, say what you will but we will see how long it takes for LSU to offer this kid, and oh yeah Mingo and baker are two LBs that are faster then him to answer your question

I could have a field day with you. First off you said he's slow on every website and what they said at the camp he runs a 4.48 on rivals Dandy Don which was actually over there when he ran a 4.55. He isn't lsu material. That is why lsu has interests in him. Because you know so much more than rivals to right or Dandy Don.

Yeah Scouts have him at #1 and Dod has him as #5 player in Louisiana. So over rated and so slow. Every website is wrong he is very slow. Your an idiot. mandeville sucks by the way
