Recruiting Rankings arnt an exact science for Rivals or the coaches. They both miss on recruits. Even in the NFL with all the money they put towards scouting, they miss on prospects too. However, five star players, just like first round picks, have a higher probability of panning out. There arnt as many 5 star players as there are 3 and 4 stars.
