Recruiting is the lifeblood of the program. I think that's why people get "worked up over it". If LSU doesn't nail this class, I think we are facing a talent gap with some of our opponents that we haven't seen in a long time in Baton Rouge.
Downswings happen to everyone. Maybe LSU is just due.

I don't think anyone is due anything. Clearly the coaching staff has been putting in work. Despite the BS from earlier, I still think we close strong and finish with most of our targets.

I mean if you're being honest with yourself, you know that aTm will still finish with a worse class than us no matter what. Y'all will never really have the talent that LSU has/had/will have.

I like most LSU fans, but I forget that some of y'all believe college football started in 2001.

But they do have those cute white pants and cheer lines.

Possibly, but a top ten class for LSU might not be a top three class in your own division.

At this point, aTm is 1998 Tulane. Watch your mouth, child. You're sitting at the big table now.

Here we go with this BS again.

That was someone from Miami saying it and you also have to realize with kids these days, they do not care about the pass or tradition.

And it would still be better than aTm's class. The only school who has a shot at a better class than us in this division is Alabama.

I realize they don't. That's why A&M has gone from struggling to recruiting extremely well in two years. Fortunes can reverse very quickly as well. Im not saying that's happening to LSU by any means, but LSU isn't entitled to a top ten class every single year, and that was the implication, or at least how I took it.

But A&M is still going to finish with a great class.
At a certain point we're splitting hairs. I mean, is there necessarily a large talent gap between the top ranked class and say the 8th ranked group (assuming of course the talent is fairly evenly distributed)?
I think the coach who consistently signs top ten classes has what he needs to compete and beat a coach who consistently signs the top ranked class.

Myles Garrett, Kyle Allen and Speedy Noil would be a salty top three and I would that up against yalls top three especially if Bama makes a couple late steals from y'all.

They fit perfectly with the thousands of A&M fans that believe it started in November of 2012.

Your Aggie brother is the one you should be addressing here.
