Wind rating on cell towers

Out of curiosity, what kind of wind are cell phone/radio towers rated to take? You never hear of them going down during hurricanes.

must be high as hell...I have never seen one fall...power to them was a different story in 2005, though...

Because most towers have a generator backup. It still takes a landline connection to operate a cell tower. By the way, the wind rating is extremely high. Not often do you see any towers topple during a storm.

It wasn't power in 2005, it was network congestion.

Not much structure, so not much force is absorbed.
