Who knew a hermit crab would freak out over a hurricane?

This is a picture of my daughter's hermit crab. We could hear a noise and looked over and saw he had climbed his palm tree! He would lose his grip and fall then climb back up. He's never done this before. I've heard of animals getting scared but never did I think our hermit crab would!

Animals have a keen sense of when danger is coming, doesn't surprise me, really. They are very sensitive to changes in atmospheric pressure and all. But it is interesting

Yeah I knew that animals have strong senses about weather because my dog has been running around like crazy for the past few days, but just didn't expect to see it from our crab...lol
