Flooding, a few trees down, the river is definitely rising. So far, still have power and cable.

I'll figure out a way to drop you some hints without completely blowing what's left of my TD anonymity.

WOW, thanks for the pics. My mom have sent me similar ones. My street is quickly flooding. We live in phase 1. The pictures are unlike any other flooding I've seen there and we've lived in that house since '97

Anyone have an update of what I10/Gause looks like or if they have any water. I know they are a couple miles from the lake, but I don't know what the elevation looks like. I have a customer over there and need to know if he is getting water or not

Water is up in my yard at the corner of Belle Terre and Magnolia Lane. I still have power but Crepemyrtle does not. High tide is at 7:30pm so I am hoping the water will not rise in the river except for the runoff.

When the water table gets up as high as it is - Those big old trees push over really easily. I think most of the heavy winds have passed so it won't be as much an issue unless there's a tornado.

FWIW - There were 4 tornadoes in QR during Katrina. 3 F1 and 1 F2+... really made a mess.

i think thats what did most of the damage. they had a lot of pine trees in their yard that fell on the house, letting rain in

My boyfriend's family lives in Doubloon Bayou Estates as well; water is up to their porch & their house is raised. I'm worried about them.

My mom said a little while ago that their power was out. Does this mean their power got fixed?

Overrated, IMO.

Most people who would know me IRL know me on here.. I don't really have a problem with it. But to each his own.

I'm not sure. I live in the back of phase 2 and have it, but I heard some generators running earlier.
