Meh...plenty before the storm were too cool for the room and facebook was covered with a leaf in a yard saying tragedy(get the joke!?!?)

In some towns those same people have trees over powerlines now....Haha...outside of making retarded kid jokes I don't mess with kharma tilits done. Baton rouge has got pretty lucky. Livingston has had some rough moments here and there and br neighbor

yeah I definitely didn't post those silly pictures. Like I said before, I'm just thinking we won't see the same destruction as we did with Gustav. I think we're more prepared and a lot of those old/dead trees are done. I think some will still fall (as a couple have) but its not gonna be nearly as widespread.

no I really meant the best is on its way. And then I was using the cliches everyone else has all weekend fricking around. I don't hate you like I do some posters on this board. You've been a decent poster IMO in the past

That's good to know. Not going to lie, trolling, at times, is amusing. And, yes, I do it some of the time. But in this thread, I've given tons of reliable info. No harm no foul. Just trying to help my fellow Louisianians out. In Gustav it wasn't as bad as this. I guess some areas are attacked worse than others.

i'm not sure me and him are looking at the same outage map, because to me...it looks like BR is holding up like a champ.

10-15% maybe?

Richard Condon on 1150AM WJBO doing a great job on Hurricane Coverage IMO.

Also, just got a phone call that my parents roof is starting to leak.

Is the worst past us? Does this mean if we don't have power out now, we are safe? COULD IT BE?

if you are in BR I don't think so the eye is about to come through and if the south east part comes through it may be slightly worse then the north west part not sure though. I'm in covington I think the worst is mostly past us.

The eye is about to hit BR I believe.

I'm out in central and weve been without power since 5:30. Neighborhood is flooded.

Not gonna be pretty if we get too much more rain

Elleshoe--do you live in BR or Mandeville?

Parts of Mandeville/Madisonville are flooding now.
