That's what they do. If you have plants or want to make sure they don't eat your lawn (at least some of it) you may want to take them out with something. If they're already that far along, though, you'd have to get them ASAP.

I hate those bastards. I had a battle with them last year on my new Bermuda lawn. They were everywhere. I’d find them in my garage every morning, all on the walkway and driveway, and all in the lawn. A couple rounds of Bifen helped me control them. I’ll say, even though they did a lot of damage, the grass bounced back nicely.

I just went through this a few weeks ago on new Bermuda sod. They destroyed the turf within 48 hours. There had to be hundreds if not thousands of them.

It's expensive, but I highly recommend treating with Acelepryn. If you needed something from the big box store for the interim, get this to kill them quickly - LINK

Son of a…. Went outside this morning and had about a dozen of them in the pool. First sighting this year. I treated the yard about a month ago. Time to do it again.
