My neighbors just had windows replaced by the east Texas company I mentioned above. They scheduled and delivered 10 weeks after measuring. They build them in house.

We’ve used wincore and atrium recently. Neither are close to 6 months out. 10-12 weeks is pretty safe right now.

Where are you located? My good friend is a carpenter and does quality work. He is constantly replacing windows and doors in buildings thrown up by these large contractor companies.

We used Window World to replace a single window upstairs a year ago to see how it held up before we replaced the rest. So far it's been fine and the install was fast. Maybe we got lucky, but we didn't have any issues. I do like having a double hung window up there, much easier to clean.
