I've got an enclosed area in my house that has a musky mildew mold type smell coming from it and I want to see what it looks like without tearing out a huge chunk of wall. Am I looking for a endoscope?

Yes. Can get a super cheap usb one on Amazon. They’re actually pretty good and you’ll never use it again.
I lied. They’re like $20 now. Still not bad if you need one.

Did exactly this. Beats paying someone.

I found the cheap ones on Amazon don’t give you a real good picture. I have found many uses for mine. Like looking at a broken blower behind the dash of my truck, finding a wedding ring in the drain……

Have you used a moisture meter yet? If the material pops on the moisture meter, I’m cutting a chunk out regardless of looks.

Depstech

I've bought this one about 5 years ago and its been great for my use about twice a year. Depstech is obviously a chinese outift but they have been in the endoscope game for a while now. And they also make much better ones too.
