We have about 1000 sq ft patio and walkways that we are about to do. Will be overlaying unilock pavers over the top of the concrete. Right around 32K here in KC.

Looks very good! Wonder if it would look good next to dark red brick?
We spent a lot of money on a back "porch" - concrete and covered, 10 feet wide and length of house. Contractor got the "best" concrete person in Monroe to do the concrete. It was a very hot day, over 100 degrees. Well, he was training his son in the business and left his son to finish up. From what I understand (now) you need to cover the finished concrete with water if its really hot. And the son didn't. This resulted in numerous surface cracks, which of course, hurts the looks of the back porch.
