I have an infestation of Dallisgrass (I know I have to dig this one up) and crabgrass. I’m going to try to spot spray and kill the crabgrass so I can dig up the dallisgrass (I can’t always tell them apart without the seed head). What product are y’all using for Quinclorac for the crabgrass?

Drive XLR8 would be the best option due to the high percentage of AI.
But I've used Trimec Crabgrass+ with success (lower upfront cost of $16, but far more expensive in the long run).
------
Drive is less than $1 per application per 1,000 ft
Trimec is about $5 per application per 1,000 ft

Dallisgrass MSMA or a mix of tricolpyr, mso, roundup, and fuilsade 2.

The second mix you have to paint it on.

Yea sorry…I am indeed a Bermuda convert. Still have centipede in my front yard, but I don’t care about that. I’m just waiting for the Bermuda to take over. Back yard is all Bermuda and weeds

If you have Celsius and spray heavy and mow multiple times a week the Bermuda has a chance to overtake the Dallisgrass. Unless it’s a serious infestation. Then dig or wait until dormancy and spray with roundup

Ronk, when you say celsius heavy, what would that mean. I have the .226 pouches that I usually mix with 2 gallons. Would I mix one with one gallon maybe? I thought .226 to 2 gallons was the strongest recommended

If spot spraying Dallisgrass, maybe a full packet in a gallon of water?
Ronk, can he re use it after a week if he shakes it up well?

If you’re mixing .226 in 2 gallons then that is the high dose. If it was the 10oz bottle you can “oops” a little more in. If you have .226 in 2G the spray until wet.
