Weed identification in flower bed

Any clue as to what this is and a way to get rid of other than hand pulling. I’ve actually already hand pulled all of it. But would like to know what it is and if there is something to use to rid of it.
When you pull it, it has a LONG root system. White root system with a root ball at the end.
