Weed ID Help

Pulled a few of these today before mowing the lawn. Comes out easily enough but is rather prolific. Is this something my regular weed and feed will help control, or do I need to bring out the better herbicides?

Yes - Sedgehammer (halosulfuron) is an excellent herbicide for nutsedge. Sprayed some yesterday. ETA: safe to use on warm-season lawn grasses

Don’t pull
Why not?
Causes it to spread.
Someone posted a while back about using a small art brush and full strength Roundup to paint those bastard weeds if you have a small amount to control.
I had a couple of patches from a load of topsoil I used to level a few spots in my Bermuda lawn.
Spent about 20 minutes painting nutsedge there and in places I had battled it for years one evening after work.
Next morning the shite was brown and wilted.
I had used selective herbicides like Image, and never could eradicate the stuff in my established lawn.
I no longer have Nutsedge anywhere now.

I used Celcius Plus and I have centipede grass. It works with no harm to the grass. It does take about 10 days for the application to work so you have to be patient but it works great.

I'll be doing this once I have a day without rain in the forecast. Its not a big enough patch to warrant the cost of Sedgehammer, and I have plenty of glyphosate.
Appreciate all the recommendations!

Nutsedge (nut grass) has underground runners and develops hard "nuts". Pulling rarely gets these out, and new plants will soon resprout from what's left in the soil. Even careful digging misses a lot. River silt used as fill is notoriously bad for this and other weeds. Plan on using herbicides as soon as weeds start emerging from new fill.
