One other thing, the fuel line in the gas tank has a little filter on it. They can get gummed up.
Take a coat hangar, bend a half inch u in the end of it.
Reach in the gas tank and snag the fuel line. Pull it out of the fill hole and pull off the filter and replace with one off eBay or local lawn mower shop

I will add that if you ever need a new carburetor don't buy the cheap $15 kit on Amazon. I could never get that pos to run right no matter how much i adjusted the carb. OEM all day
