Have an AP904 aquapure.
I’ve used this same system for years on city water (3 different homes). Especially excellent for excess chlorine remediation. Rather easy to install and maintain. Changed filter every 3 months in Bay St Louis house. That city water is brown. Has been forever. Helps but doesn’t totally eliminate coloration unless changed frequently. Individual filters last considerably longer in other homes (usually change out every 6 to 12 months)

I'm at 19 months with no smell of chlorine yet.

If you are still looking into whole home systems, I can give you contact information for the rep who sells/installs chief filtration systems. He lives in west Monroe and services all of Louisiana. I called him a couple of weeks ago and we decided to move forward with this system.
