Do front load washers still have the smell issue?

You have to leave the door open for it to dry out. But women don't like untidy things, so they will keep closing it, and the drum will sit there damp until you do the next load. That's what causes the smell.

We had one and my wife did like the poster above said. Left the door open after it ran.
Never once had a problem with smell. It was just a piece of shite washer (LG).
