Location?
Big Leaf Magnolia and Yellowtrees are two of my favorite trees. Personally I’d add mulberry, pawpaw,a few oriental persimmon trees, and possumhaws. American Holly are great for attracting cedar waxwings (one of my favorite birds).

It’s great to get all of these ideas!!! Will definitely try to incorporate some of the following.
Redbuds, flowering dogwoods, maples - would like to have some fall color. Plus Cypress, Magnolia, Ash, Holly, Pecan.
I’m gonna have to scale down at some point but would love to plant as many as possible.
FYI - I’m in south Louisiana and wish I would have planted earlier this year to not worry about watering!

Chinese Pistache are horribly invasive.
We have Chinese Pistaches everywhere in my neighborhood in east Dallas and they look amazing.

I get them only for a few minutes a year as they eat all my hawthorn berries and move on. But it’s a site to behold. Does the holly keep them around longer?
