Toro 22 in vs Snapper 21 inch Walk behind

Looking to buy a walk behind/ self propelled lawn mower after years of having a lawn service care for yard.
Retired and prices are going up on lawn care so going back to doing it myself.
I welcome the variety of opinions. I have been looking at these 2 mowers. Will no be bagging but fertilizer and irrigation, so grass will grow well.
2nd question is HD sells the Toro but are they a modified version from a mower bought at a local lawn mower shop. At one time I heard Honda had a different line built for HD

I have a Honda HRN. Been abusing it for a year and it still looks brand new. The self propel is great.

Get the toro with personal pace. It’s the best self propelled system I’ve used.

I’ve always been a fan of the snapper self propelled hi-vac. Grass looks like carpet and is great to walk barefoot on after a nice cut

Snapper used to be my go to, but now Honda.

I can't think of a reason why you shouldn't get the EGO 56v self propelled mower.
It's sooo easy to use, and low maintenance. You can do it with one hand basically. Can be a struggle to do your entire yard on a single charge if you have a large yard - I have two batteries for that reason.
The EGO weed eater is the GOAT weed eater.

You don't want to do that if you have St. Augustine grass, which is common in south Louisiana and Florida - especially older neighborhoods.

Saint Aug grass and with fertilizer and irrigation it gets super thick. Concerned about power

I have thick arse St. Aug and the EGO is just as powerful as the Toro gas mower I had before it. If anything, it gets bogged down fewer times. If the grass is wet it'll sometimes it'll halt and then I have to go back over a lump of clippings. The gas mower did the same thing. It's plenty powerful.
I can cut the whole front yard on a single charge if conditions are good, or it'll take up to 1.75 charges if the grass is high and somewhat moist. It's 100'x200' lot with a decent sized front yard that warrants a riding mower but it broke last year and I haven't' gotten it fixed yet. All my neighbors use riding mowers.
If you have one of those small lots that are found in most new neighborhoods (~60'x140') then it should be a piece of cake.

Talked to a few stores today and buying a Snapper ain't happening. For one none available locally and the dies for production were old and worn. No interest in rebuilding the dies. Basically Snapper walk behinds are going to be Murray lawn mowers.
