Hijack - any insight on their dryers?

No I don’t as I don’t have one yet - but when my Whirlpool dryer dies I will replace it with a SQ dryer. I’m sure they are made to last and function as well as their washers.

ETA: SQ will definitely be my next washer purchase.

I've got the DC5. It works good. My advice on dryers though...if you have natural gas, I'd get a gas dryer.

I had a natural gas dryer for years and I think natural gas is the way to go on dryers. An electric heating element is a crappier option compared to natural gas.

front loaders will always mildew and stink.

i had a friend who figured out a solution to it molding and stinking. she sticks a teddy bear in the door so it stays open 24/7 unless the washer is being used. it solved all her mold problems, but with that said, she would never buy another front loader again.

you would think those engineers making $ millions to design shite, would figure out the same thing and just add a vent door that opens when its done washing, so it dries and stays dry and mold free

dude you are a couple years behind, they already fixed this issue on most of the new designs.
