Too Late to Kill Common Lespedeza

Is it too late in the summer to try to kill Common Lespedeza? It is all over my yard. I see a few threads about what to use to kill it but then see that those have a temperature limit around 90 F.

Celcius and MSM turf are safe to use in the heat. Mix at label directions. It will stunt the growth of your turfgrass, but won't kill it.
That weed is my kryptonite. I stay on top of it, but it gets up off of the ground and comes back. A never ending struggle. My only solace is seeing it die after I spot spray. The small victory in the losing war.

For me, Celcius at full strength didn't affect it. This was before the higher temps though.

Same here. This year I went with dithiopyr at new years and again in mid March.
So far I’m seeing much improvement. But it’s still early.

You sure you use enough nitrogen fertilizer? My lespedeza went away as soon as I started fertilizing just a little. Still have it in some nooks where I’m certain I don’t get much fertilizer when Im broadcasting.

I did 1 app of Celsius at high rate back in May and I swear it got stronger.
