it wasn't cheap, and I had to wire an outlet into the area. I was able to rob power from the light switch for the vent/light to drop a wire and add a box down lower.

Doesn't use much at all. I've run mine for a pretty long time before, and it's not enough to even notice the extra water in the toilet.
