This is a new one in the yard. Started noticing it in pot plants that were purchased at a nursery. Next, started showing up where I spray my out building perimeter with glyphosate. I think I have seen it come through the H&G board but can't find it. I hit it with Celsius/Certainty combo around 6 weeks ago. It turned it slightly yellow, but it came right back.

For me it's like snakes. I don't like them no matter what kind. Weeds are the same to me. Nuke it

Thats it. Thank you. NC State extension has a good article on this plant.
quote:

because spurges flower when young and have little or no seed dormancy, weed populations can increase rapidly.
I can vouch for this. That crap is popping up everywhere. Article says its susceptible to pre-emergents like Dimension and Prodiamine and can be controlled by most spurge herbicides. LSU Ag says Post-emergents include metsulfuron-methyl/MSM Turf.

I have a ton of spurge, so I just started making it a habit of walking around the property with my roundup spray bottle. making progress. In doing the research, I learned I might be also killing purslane which is edible. I'll be giving this stuff a closer look from now on.
