I'm curious if anyone is running a propane powered heater for their in ground hot tub? About to buy a house that is ran on electric, I'm gathering that it isn't very efficient. No NG to the house, so I'd have to use propane. For those of you with this setup, how quickly does the propane heater get your hot tub up to temp? How much propane does it typically use?

The only thing I use propane for is seafood boils and my Weber grill, but I do know it costs me more than $3.50 a gallon to refill my tanks-------and it's been months since I've filled the 5 I have on hand, so the price has likely gone up with this "go green" idiot in the White House.

Don't do that.

Find a house with gas.

Trust me I want gas badly. But the house is too perfect for it to be a deal breaker. I guess I ought to call the atmos and see how close they have gas lines in the area.
