2 gallons per minute. Not a 2 gallon fill

Definitely not spraying that fast with a backpack sprayer

Dumb question, but is GMS grams on the fill chart? Do I need a surfactant for a blanket yard spray of MSM to get rid of mainly spurge?

Don’t want to speak for ronk put I’m sure GMS in his fill chart is grams, as the 0.5 is the grams of metsulfuron methyl (Manor=MSM Turf) per gallon I use when spraying.
I think it’s always a good idea to add surfactant to your herbicides mixes - label for MSM Turf calls for it. Helps with absorption of the herbicide into weeds, particularly the shinny waxy leaf weeds. It’s cheap and only requires 2 teaspoons per gallon of spray solution.

Perfect, thanks Craw. Makes sense and just ordered some surfactant.
