Mowed/picked up yard saturday and all was good. Walked out into my yard this morning and had a spot of this. No idea what it is. I treated my yard with disease x, talstar, and peat moss (some areas) about a month ago then again 2-3 weeks ago to deal with some other issues I was having but this is totally new. The sod was placed here back in May.

That's some weird shite. over 50% of my St. Aug is yellow. And I've tried everything. Finally sent me dirt off to LSU.

I've been in a battle for 4 months with my St. Aug.

I went totally yellow and a combination of peat moss and some bio stims from Lawn Care Nut seemed to do the trick.

Slime mold. You don't have to do anything to it. It doesn't hurt the lawn.

I’ve got a couple of yellow patches growing.

Would now be a good time for another application of ironite?

Identify what is causing the yellow patches first.

How does one do this? I threw out ironite about 2 weeks ago and mine is still very light green in many areas. Its very patchy, but one is along one of my Sprinkler lines. Most of my sprinkler lines doesn't have it, but I have one stretch of maybe 75 ft that is all light green right above my sprinkler line. Its not super shallow either, at least 5-6 inches of soil that the sod was placed on top. Don't get me wrong it may run shallow in some parts but not here I made it deep because its my one path to get a vehicle in so I wanted it extra deep. But everywhere else is spotty patches of the light green. Then most of my yard looks great.

Usually something is causing the yellowing. It's best to find out what it is and correct it. Could be chinch bugs, heat stress, over watering, grubs, grey leaf spot, etc.
