I sodded my backyard with Palmetto St Aug about 4 years ago and I'm running into my first big issue...not sure if this is brown patch/TARR or something else (cinch bugs?)
it was looking a little thin in this spot last year (but nothing like this year) so I top dressed with a little sand, which you can see in the last pic
as you can see in the first pic, the rest of the yard is mostly fine, but there are a couple of very small spots that are starting to look like this looked last year so I want to ID and get on treating it
I fertilized in mid April with Fertilome 24-0-4 w/Iron for 1 lb N per 1000 sq ft intending to follow up with 2-3 more apps of same later in the year and I also applied Specticle Flo pre-em last October

Looks like grey leaf spot. It isn't chinch bugs not really warm enough and they don't like shade. Bottom right in the last picture is where I see it. You can hit it with propiconizole.

Yup… that area looks susceptible to moisture… shade and lack of consistent air flow will probably result in a long term battle with fungal issues there.
