Sprinkler system gurus I have an issue.

Earlier this year I posted about a valve being stuck open and i couldn’t locate it. Luckily it has resolved itself. Now when I open the water valve it doesn’t start spraying on its own.
The new problem is the program won’t run on auto. If I put it on manual everything runs fine. But set it to run on its own and nothing happens. All the date/time stuff is right and the program times are the same as they were when it used to work.
Is there something I should check?

I've been wading through the responses here and seeing lots of good suggestions. Fortunately, the issue seems to have fixed itself as the sprinker came on this morning. I did wiggle some wires around so maybe there was a short or something.

Some controllers support mutiple programs and schedules like A, B and C. So you might have a situation where you have the following programming.
Program A:
All zones 10 minutes.
Program B:
Unconfigured.
Program C:
Unconfigured.
Schedule A:
Unconfigured.
Schedule B:
Everyday 4:00 AM
Schedule C:
Unconfigured.
Everyday at 4:00 AM schedule B runs. Program B is unconfigured so nothing happens. But, manually running program A causes all zones to run for 10 minutes. If you have this type of controller make sure you have the correct program scheduled.
