I’m still somewhat of a beginner at lawncare, but I was told by someone at my local co-op that I needed to wait til the daytime temps were 80+ and the nighttime temps were above 60 to apply. I applied this morning. We aren’t expecting rain in the forecast until about Wednesday (central MS). I should be ok, right?

I would think you would be alright. If you haven’t bought MSMA I would order Celsius to use as a selective herbicide in Bermuda. I have had much better success.

I have a jug of MSMA, but I don’t mind buying something else. Have been screwed over by TruGreen in the past and an determined to get it figured out on my own. I’ve been lurking on this site (mostly the outdoor board) for the the last year or so. I feel like I’ve learned a good bit from you guys, and I’m always open to learn more.

MSMA or MSM?

Nvm. You said it was in a jug. I don’t think MSM is sold as a liquid

MSMA, Roundup, etc, work better the hotter the temps when grass, weeds, etc, are actively growing.
