While I hope to graduate to a battery powered 4 gal. eventually, I currently have a 2 gallon Chapin Premier (pump) with a severly busted wand.
So I have these two things on the way.
What else will I need for liquid to come out of the tee jet?
Thanks. Feel free to discuss all things related here.
Extra: Is my wand all full of holes because I melted down Ammonium Sulfate in my tank and didn't wash it out good enough afterward? Or possibly because I sprayed chelated iron and AMS at the same time??
Please help me avoid doing this again. Sorry, I'm no chemist.

I've got a two gallon electric pump sprayer that I use for pre/post emergent fertilizers. When I'm done using it, I fill it back up all the way with almost 2 gallons and run the sprayer completely filled with just water. It has an automatic trigger setting so that it just keeps going until it's eventually empty.
I'd say you should probably try something like that. The parts in pumps are not too excited to be filled with chemicals long term so they need to be cleaned out immediately.

I have an Echo 4 gallon backpack sprayer that belonged to my deceased father. Looks like he took the tip off because all I can find it an adjustable sprayer. I’d like the ability to get a tip that sprays a wider spray pattern for spraying my entire yard with Celsius and Certainty. What’s on there now would be great for spot spraying weeds or your flower beds.
I’ve got a Soho 4 gallon backpack sprayer. It’s leaking at the tip and I can’t figure out why. That’s not a bad inexpensive sprayer but I need something more substantial. When I put 4 gallons in it the cheap straps kind of hurt your shoulders. I’d prefer to spends the money and get one the pros use that ergonomically more comfortable.
Yeah OP I’m like you and need to figure this sprayer tip stuff out.

Well I’d definitely start with tee jet. Their nozzles spray 110° degrees. About 3x wider than average.
I’m just struggling to understand how best to put it all together.

I recommend the Lesco 2 gallon electric sprayer. It automatically fills for you so that you don't have to pump air manually. It's a big time saver. Only downside is that it can be a bit of a pain to carry around when full.
