I’m working on getting a plumber to my house tomorrow but in the mean time I’m trying to figure out what is going on. Sorry but this will be long…

Yesterday I noticed my upstairs sink that rarely gets used was backing up. It seemed like the line was clogged and the AC drain was filling it up. Turned off the AC, routed the sink to a bucket and the bucket was empty this morning. Figured I had a clog in the line that I’d need a plumber to remove. Seemed relatively simple

This morning I notice that it sounds like the jacuzzi tub downstairs is running water but I don’t see anything. The tub was extremely hot as if hot water was just circulating constantly. Go outside and there’s water leaking out from under the house where the tub is. I open the outdoor hose since that was right outside where the tub sits and the pressure on that line was extremely high.

What on earth could be causing all this?

Hot water and the outside hose line shouldn't be linked. I don't see how drain lines would back up to mix with hot water either. The jacuzzi tub might be doing something on its own with a recirculation type thing to maintain hotness, that could be on the fritz. Need more data.

Yea I have never really turned the jacuzzi feature on. Wondering if maybe I flipped the breaker on it if it would help things

A hose is cold water. Shouldn’t be related.

I think there are details missing.

You need to hook your stuff back up that is draining into the bucket though, that could get bad if you don’t pay attention.

Run some bleach or something through your AC condensate line, just look up directions online.

Beyond that honestly it’s mostly jibberish and hard to understand.
