Soil Test/Fertilizer Question

I just started the renovation process on my front lawn last week. First application of glyphosate was done on 3/18. Will do the second application tomorrow or Thursday. Hoping to seed my yard with Royal TXD bermuda in a few weeks.
Just got my soil test results in and I'm planning ahead for fertilizer. MySoil recommends a 7-0-20 fertilizer. However, is that just for maintenance or for starter? Or are they one in the same?
Greatly appreciate all the insight you folks bring to the table. I never had any idea how complicated grass can be.

A starter fertilizer includes more phosphorus (middle number) than normal for root development, but you are already high in phosphorous so it's recommending that you skip it.
Answer: Maintenance.
Lookin' good! Enjoy watching those sprouts

I’d still use a fert with at least a 10 in phosphorus when seeding.
If your lawn was established, I definitely would lay off though as too much phosphorus over time promotes thatch.

quote:So since I'm starting from seeds it makes sense to use a little phosphorus like Tifway said. Slow-release product for starter fertilizer application and then next fertilizer I should completely back off the phosphorus.
Answer: Maintenance.
Thanks for the help, gentlemen.
