Shower Reno recs for Baton Rouge

Previous homeowner did a shower reno sometime before we purchased the house 3 years ago. Started noticing mildew on baseboards next to the shower.
We have already had one guy out for a quote and he seemed very knowledgeable/reasonably priced but I haven't had luck getting back in touch since he sent the quote.
While he was inspecting he mentioned we had a Schluter drain that was improperly installed and he mentioned not being a fan of the schluter system. At the time I didn't know what he was talking about but have done some research on Schluter System failures that now have me worried.
Anyone have recs for a good shower/tile guy in Baton Rouge?
If Schluter has issues what system/shower pans should I go with?
I am worried enough about the damage done behind the walls, I really don't want to deal with this again a couple years down the road.

I don't have a contractor recommendation because I did my bathroom reno myself, but I did use a different product on the shower pan that hasn't had any issues in over 7 years.
I used the KBRS pre fabricated shower pan KBRS
You can get a custom size or do a standard shower size.
They also sell in-wall tileable boxes. I thought it was a great product. I used a ton of the RedGuard water proofing membrane on the concrete board walls and seams.
My hope is when the next person tears it out it will be as dry as the day I installed.

Actually, I do. Schluter DOES NOT FAILi if installed per their instructions/guidelines.
