Shallots—mime are three years old. I need to replant. Cleggs in BR didn’t have any this week. Anyone know where to get bulbs near BR?

Potatoes—-I want to try a small Fall batch. Anyone know where I can get seed potatoes this time of year? Usually I plant them in Jan.

Seed potatoes are very hard to find in the fall. Next year you may want to save some small potatoes from your spring crop, and let them sprout for the fall.

Ponchatoula feed and seed has shallots and onions usually. I’m looking to do fall seed potatoes too but having no luck, even online seed sites are sold out

Pull and break up the clumps and replant single bulbs. Been doing that for over 30 years.

Cleggs on Donmoor has shallots and garlic in stock. Don’t think you’re gonna have much luck finding seed potatoes from what I’ve seen.

I have about 8 potatoes left over from spring planting. I’m going to try my luck with fall crop. The ones I did in big planter did much better than the ones i did in garden. Probably soil issue though, loose soil vs amended clay.
