Any concern it’ll just be washed out?

Best time to fertilize is right before rain. In South Louisiana, we don’t have hills to worry about wash out unless we get like 5+ inches in 1-2 days like we did a few months ago. You’ll be fine

I am concerned with this as well. I fertilized some azaleas with some damn expensive fertilizer yesterday and we got rain all night. Afraid it all washed away<

Heavy rain events send your granular fertilizer into the nearest drainage.

Best to wait for a slow rain, or break out the sprinkler.
