I have a small area of rust on the lining below the glass.
Can this be painted? If so, what kind of paint? Thanks.

" on the lining below the glass."
Is this metal?
Appliance paint in a small bottle with brush may be all you need.

Get small bottles of appliance paint, basically like a bottle of White Out with a built-in brush or do what I've done and go to the nearest auto parts store and get a vehicle paint chip pen that does the exact same thing. I prefer the paint chip pen as it has a little fiber scrubber to remove surface rust too.

Thanks for the info on black touch up paint,
I had already gotten a can of high temperature black spray paint. I taped off the area and it covered fine.
