Anyone had better luck with one rust killer over another? Need to get rid of some on the foot rest of backseat of gold cart and repaint. I’ve tried the rust oleum rust reformer but it didn’t last very long.
Thanks
Thanks

I havent been pleased with the rust reformer either.
Best bet is to sand it down to bare metal and prime before painting.

POR-15 works amazingly well when prepped/applied properly.

Agreed on POR 15.
If you are trying to remove some of the rust before coating it, try Evapo-rust.
Tools and parts can be soaked in the solution.
If trying to remove rust on a surface (like a floorboard), one can soak a rag in Evapo-Rust and let it lie on the surface for a few hours.
