Replacing the duct work on range hood. Any particulars to look for?

Had my back splash redone and they had to take down my range hood. Apparently, it was time for that crap to be changed b/c it has hole where it turned. I’m guessing when it flexed where it finally broke. I’m sure they didn’t notice when they reattached it b/c it was excellent work and things were done in a professional way. He would’ve redid it for me he seen it. But, I can do it myself. I just want to make sure I’m using the right stuff.
Anyways. It looks like I need some sort of tape to re-tape the aluminum piece back down to the hood and then I’ll need some flexible duct. It’s basically a 90 from the top of the hood out the house on that wall. But, of course it isnt that simple... it’s not lined up so I’ll need something flexible.
What is the tape that is used? Looks like aluminum?

Standard rigid AC duck will work. Its probably 3" or 4". Edges are sharp so be careful. They make them that you can twist to get in any position. If you have to piece them together run a couple of self tapping screws (short ones) to hold it together then wrap with tape.
Yes that tape is foil tape, it will be with the duct work at Lowes. Dont use duct tape, it will fall off in a few years.

or.......... you add another 90 to it so it makes a big gradual twist to line up perfectly and be solid pipe all the way
it makes your life so much easier then fooling with that weak arse flex tube junk
