How much should it cost to tear out a walk in tub and replace it with a standard tub/shower. I could remove walk-in with help of friends

I am fixing to go the other way. Sucks cause I just redone that bathroom.

Did this about a year ago on a full bathroom reno. Will really depend on materials you choose for new tub/shower. Reno is fairly easy and will probably be few hundred dollars. If the plumbing all stays in the same place and its just a basic tub/shower with cheap fixtures I would say the cheapest it would be total is like $1000-$1500.

I’m assuming OP means a true walk in tub like for old people that don’t have to step over anything? I just want everyone to be sure what he’s discussing here.
