SIAP. Looking for someone in the Baton Rouge/Central area that does quality work. Thanks in advance!

Rigid or Flex ducts? Rigid can be cleaned. Flex ducts can not and are usually replaced.
Sorry, but don’t have a recommendation who can do this but before you move forward read this LINK. If you have dirty ducts there is a reason, often air leakage on the return side of the HVAC system, and it should be addressed first.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to see what type we have. The ducts are original and 45 years old. I change the filter fairly regularly and still get a fair amount of dust.

Then they will be rigid - in my opinion that’s a good thing.
I would suspect that there might some potential leaks in the return side duct work (negative pressure side) that can suck in dust from the attic etc. That would be occurring past the HVAC filter. Possible all the ducts joints might need to be re-sealed with duct mastic and re-insultated given their age.
Hopefully someone can recommend HVAC company that can do a good job of evaluating your ducts, including cleaning if deemed necessary.
I’ve not used this company so I’d be hesitant to recommend them, but I’ve heard they are good, they are a full service HVAC company and do offer duct cleaning and sealing services. LINK
