The 9 gallon Dewalt is catching my eyes from the reviews.

So I did some extensive research on shop vacs and by and large the big box models are all about the same suction wise. Obviously there is some variance. But you are basically buying tank size and accessories. I have a large ridgid and it has the motor that removes and turns into a blower. Nice feature I use occasionally. Beyond that, I was just saying buy the one that fits the size of your needs and fits where you can store it best.

I have the 9 gallon Dewalt and have no complaints at all. Plenty room to not have to empty it often, and plenty suction. I would buy it again.

I have a Shop Vac and added the dust deputy. I was initially apprehensive about how expensive it was for basically a 5 gallon bucket and a couple hoses, but I'd recommend it now after a few years of use.

It doesn't make the shop vac some super vaccum, but really excels at keeping all the junk and dust out the main unit. I have a HEPA filter in the main unit and just have to spray it off occasionally.
