Camp Chef Woodwind with the sear box. Best customer service that I’ve ever come across.

I got a pit boss because I was new to smoking and didn’t want to break the bank with my first purchase.
My food is fantastic and it does a great job of smoking and the grates opening over the firebox let’s me do some great reverse searing. 100% worth the cost.
My main complaint (and it’s a common one) is that you have to clean out the ash tray/fire box way more regularly than advertised. Nothing pisses me off more than when the fire goes out because my dumb arse knew I should have cleaned it out. Taking off the meat, taking out the grates, removing the boiler plate (which are all a million degrees) to try and get the ash out (which is still smoldering) will make you lose your mind.

Camp Chef Woodwind24 + sidekick propane burner. I love mine, replaced a Weber propaner. I actually like the griddle not the sear box on the sidekick. The grease goes nowhere and is just supposed to burn off, but makes for constantly battling flame ups.
If anyone is in for hybrid pellet smoker + propane, Camp Chef just released their Apex series a couple weeks ago.
