Quick wire clamp question.

Installing a shade sail. All the local places are out of 3/16 cable clamps. Would a 1/8 work? Seems like such a small difference on something that is adjustable, that it should work fine, no?

What is it holding?
I'd go 1/16th the other way and use a 1/4" to be sure it fits around whatever it needs to.

3/16 wire cable to hold a shade sail taut

The sizes on parts like this are usually a measure of the inside diameter. I'd stick with the 1/4" to be safe. It'd be easier to tighten down a little slack than to force the cable through a hole too small.
