Question about Scotts Weed and Feed

Note I am a TOTAL NOVICE and essentially know nothing about this stuff.
We moved to current house in fall of 2021. Last summer the front yard was in pretty good shape except a random weed or two here and there but it was nothing overwhelming, I bought this Ortho weedspray to spot spray and I felt like it did jsut fine:
I was looking at the grass yesterday and I noticed there's quite a few weeds in there that I don't recall seeing before. Maybe I just didn't pay attention or maybe they're new, I don't know. On the little side yard patch that goes along the opposite side of the driveway from the actual yard there's quite a few dandelions over there I don't recall from previously. But it got me to looking into something like a Scotts weed and feed to try to knock out the weeds now instead of waiting. the problem is the reviews are kind of mixed and some people say it killed their grass and left patches and stuff which obviously sounds awful.
I have 2 ultimate questions here:
1) I know it's probably very basic and appeals to the common person like myself, but do Scotts products (specifically, this Scotts weed and feed below) generally seem effective?
2) Even though it will be more time consuming on my part, should I just stick with the Ortho spray since that seemed to work in the past? It looks like it targets all the things that I'm currently seeing .

Most people on this board will steer you away from weed and feed products. Mainly because the timings are different for when to weed and when to feed. But I do know people who swear by it, and they seem to get good results.

Do you know turfgrass you have? Also broadly speaking where are you located?

It's bermuda and I'm in birmingham.
The more I think about it the more I just feel kind of put off by some of the reviews so I'll probably just spot spray using the ortho.

gotcha thank you.
I think last year I may not have really noticed because once we got into spring/summer and everythign was green it wasn't really noticeable. I think maybe it's just caught my eye a bit more now since the weed areas are dark green while the grass is still the dull color.
