Pre- emergents in landscape beds

I currently use a mix of Isoxaben and Prodiamine in beds that will not be planted. Is there another pre em that can be used to keep weeds down? Has anyone tried Princep?

Dimension (dithiopyr).
You don’t want to use Simazine (Princep) or Atrazine around woody shrubs and young trees. Can damage or kill them over time.

It is expensive but you can use Snapshot. It is safe to use around roughly 200 flowers and shrubs.
