Does anyone have the newer UV03 system on a pool? I'm shopping at the moment and was sold on salt, but it is a minimal cost upgrade to do the UV system. The benefit is supposed to be much less chlorine and replacement bulbs are very affordable (~$50) with a few year life on each.

Check out troublefreepool.com for some good info. I think the general consensus is that uv isn’t the way to go

I read everything I could before having our pool built and spent many hours on Troublefreepool and yes, most seasoned pool owners and builders didn’t recommend the UV

No No

Just go salt.............

Either way its chlorine.

Ya make it with salt, or ya pour it in.

12 years with salt, easy as it gets, bag of salt every month or so.
