Polaris connection to side of pool

Went to clean the filter where the connection is on the side of the pool. And now I can not get it to connect/secure properly. Anyone ever have problems with the connection or it stripping?

Yes. Have had to replace the coupling a time or two. Any pool supply store will have the part.

Is it the coupling on the end of the Polaris or the jet on the pool?
