I’ve got a rental property that currently has a stackable, overpriced, over-complicated GE. It’s short-cycling and needs a board replacement, and I’m not very inclined to invest more money into this thing.

In your opinion, what’s the best stackable option? I’m fully okay with putting in a stackable top load, I just want something that isn’t overly complicated/expensive when future repairs come due. TIA.

I don't like GE. As much as LG gets trashed i think they have the best stackable units. I have the least issues and find their parts inexpensive.

Though i would 100% change the control board on your machine. I get its an expense. But a new machine is $1200 at least. A board is $2-300. But possibly half that if you order it from the right place.

You’re right, of course. I’m just tired of sinking money into this thing. Appreciate the feedback.
