We’ve had 2 companies come out and give us quotes for termite treatment. DA Exterminating quoted us $860 for initial treatment and $255 annually. Billiot quoted us $1,112 for initial treatment and $275 annually. Both seemed to be very responsive and answered questions. Has anyone dealt with either of these companies and would you recommend either? Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with them. We tried to schedule Jay-Roy but, they’ve sold out to a larger company and after 3 calls to their call center, we still don’t have an appointment for a quote. Can any of you recommend any other companies on the Northshore that I may contact?

I received nearly the same quotes as you did on the southshore using lajaunies and pied piper. Went with neither because of cost. My parents have DA. Knock on them is they are so large you may never see the same person twice

i'd ask to review their termite warranties. That's essentially what you're paying for. See if you can find any differences.

Authentic Exterminating does my termite prevention and it's around $150 a year

This is good to know. The Billiot guy and I spoke for a good 1/2 hour and one of the things we talked about was being local. He told me the company was started in Folsom and if I ever needed anything I could call him. He did say for scheduling type stuff I would need to call the office but, anything with the system or any questions to call him. Just trying to justify the higher cost over DA. Don’t want to overpay if it’s essentially the same service.

I don’t have paper copies of these but, I did discuss with both companies. Both said essentially the same thing. If the system fails, they’re responsible for eradication but not for any property damage as the result of the failed system. That kind of sucks! Caveat with both is water damage. Busted pipe or leaky anywhere and they’re off the hook.

I tried but they sold out to a UK company. You can’t call your local office anymore. They were great and about as local as you could get. Their call center is terrible! I spoke with a few people that still use them and they aren’t getting their “regular” people anymore.

Haven’t heard of them before. Are you pleased with their service? I looked at their website and they look like they are the newer than DA or Billiot. Really want a true local company that I can contact if I have a problem. I want an established company that I can depend on.

Try J & J. Lower prices and more thorough treatment.
