New Home Construction- Requesting Interior Finish Spec sheets from random GC

I'm getting ready to contact a draftsman/architect on my new house build.


The wife and I are seeing a few new builds for sale online and really like the colors/cabinets/ hardware/ plumbing/ flooring etc on one particular home. Has anyone ever reached out to a builder on a random house for a interior spec sheet of all the components listed? I think I would pay a decent amount to not have to fight with the wife on different option and what goes with this or that etc. I have heard that is one of the most stressful parts of a build.
